Official: Juventus Announce New Manager After Maurizio Sarri's Sacking

Serie A champions Juventus have announced their new manager just hours after Maurizio Sarri was sacked.

Sarri was relieved of his duties after Juventus were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Olympique Lyon on Friday night.

The Old Lady have wasted no time in finding a replacement as their former midfielder Andrea Pirlo will take over as the head coach.

Pirlo was recently appointed as Juventus' U23 coach for the upcoming season, but he has now given his first senior managerial role at the age of 41.
