Official: Jose Mourinho's First Signing At AS Roma Confirmed

Jose Mourinho has finally secured his first signing at AS Roma for the 2021/22 season.

The Serie A outfit has secured the signature of goalkeeper Rui Patricio from Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Patricio has penned a three-year deal with the Rome outfit, who splashed out €11.5 million (R200 million) for the Portugal international's services.

The 33-year-old, who will wear the club's No. 1 jersey, is looking forward to working with his countryman Mourinho.

"Roma is a big club and a new challenge and I'm excited to try and help the club achieve its targets," Patricio told the club's official website.

"In Jose Mourinho we are talking about one of the greatest coaches in the world and I am excited to start working with him and doing everything I can to help the team."
