Official: AC Milan Announce Zlatan Ibrahimovic Extension

It has been confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made a massive decision on his future!

The towering Swede has signed a new one-year contract with AC Milan worth €6 million (R103 million) plus an additional €1 million (R17 million) in bonuses.

The 39-year-old has been in outstanding form for the Italian giants this season, despite a few off-field issues perhaps bringing him some unwanted attention.

Last week, a shock report from Sweden suggested that Ibrahimovic could be facing a three-year ban from the sport due to his ties with a betting company, although there does not appear to be any more to that situation.

Ibrahimovic returned to Europe with Milan in 2020 after a stint in the MLS with LA Galaxy and has helped inspire the Rossoneri to second place in the Serie A so far this season.

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United striker has struck 17 times across all competitions in this campaign, with 15 of those goals coming in 17 league matches.
