The Italian giants confirmed late on Wednesday evening that defender Daniel Rugani has tested positive for the virus.

Rugani has become the most prominent footballer to test positive for the virus after Timo Hubers of Bundesliga 2 club Hannover was the first known player to test positive.
The defender was an unused substitute when Juventus beat inter Milan 2-0 in a clash that was played behind closed doors on the weekend, and their rivals Inter have since announced that they have decided to suspend all "competitive activities" until further notice.
Juventus also confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo is still in Portugal after visiting his mother who suffered from a stroke last week.
Serie A has been suspended after the outbreak of coronavirus in Italy, while Juventus' UCL round of 16 second leg against Olympique Lyon is scheduled to take place next week.
