A Juventus star was involved in heavy car accident on Monday, one that saw the other driver being taken to hospital.

Brazilian winger Douglas Costa, who was driving a Jeep Cherokee at the time, escaped unscathed after being involved in a crash on the Turin-Milan motorway, according to Corriere Torino.
Costa's vehicle crashed into a Fiat Punto, the driver of which reportedly had to be taken to hospital.

Allegedly, miraculously the Juventus player has no injuries.

The severity of the injuries have not been revealed, while it also remains unclear who is at fault for the accident, which is now being investigated by the local police.
Costa later posted an image on Instagram, seemingly confirming he was fine.

The 28-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United of late, has scored just one goal and assisted two further strikes in 24 appearances for the Bianconeri so far this season.
