While Gonzalo Higuain currently stars alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus, the Argentina forward could soon strut his stuff in the United States' MLS if a club boss gets his way.

Having starred for the likes of Real Madrid, Napoli, Chelsea and current side Juve, 32-year-old Higuain is now entering the back-end of his career and could consider seeing out his playing days with a lucrative MLS deal.
LA Galaxy coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto, who himself is a former Argentina international, is hoping to make that happen and recently admitted that he is interested in bringing his countryman to the US.
"It would be a dream, we are talking about one of the best centre-forwards in the world," Schelotto told Italian publication Tuttosport.

"But honestly, I find it difficult to bring him here immediately. I saw an interview with Gonzalo where he said he wanted to stay at Juventus and in Europe. Maybe it's too early for Higuain, but never say never in football.
"I personally know the whole family, his father Jorge and brother Federico. We have already brought in Ibra (Zlatan Ibrahimovic)'s replacement in Chicharito Hernandez and we are happy with him.
"In Higuain's case, it would be a separate matter. It's a dream for the future, but it won't be easy."

Having split last season between loan spells with AC Milan and Chelsea, the France-born striker returned to Juve for the 2019/20 campaign and has scored eight goals in 33 appearances across all competitions thus far.
