Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo finally addressed his future after leading the Bianconeri to the Coppa Italia title on Wednesday night.
The Bianconeri saw their run of nine successive seasons of winning the Serie A title come to an end this term after Inter Milan's success, and are in danger of missing out of the top four as they sit in fifth spot heading into the final game of the campaign.
There have been a number of reports suggesting that Juventus could part ways with Pirlo even if they do qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League, with Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane being tipped as a potential successor, but the Italian tactician has made it clear that while he wants to stay, that decision lies with the club.
"Of course, I would confirm myself in this role. I've loved football since I was a child and will continue to love it. The club will decide, but I love coaching, I love this club, and we'll see what is decided. I would like to continue.
"The lads have always been behind me 100% and that's very satisfying for a coach, no matter what the gossip says in the papers."
