According to Cadena SER, Carlo Ancelotti and his staff informed both Jesus Vallejo and Alvaro Odriozola that their services will not be required for the coming season.
The two Spaniards were once considered top talents in the country and at the club, but a combination of a failure to impress and a lack of game time seems to have hampered their progress in recent years.

Vallejo, though, has a contract in Madrid until 2025, while Odriozola will see his current deal expire in 2024.
