While Real Madrid are better known for their glamourous style of play, a number of their footballers have become masters of the dark arts at the Santiago Bernabeu. Here are the players with the most red cards in the club's history!

Current Los Blancos captain Sergio Ramos is known for his tough-tackling approach to defending, which has earned the Spain defender his fair share of dismissals throughout his career. In fact, the 34-year-old has been sent off 20 times since joining Real – he has at least twice as many red cards as any other player in the club's history.
Ramos is followed by Los Blancos icon and former skipper Fernando Hierro, who was shown his marching orders on 10 occasions during his 610-match affiliation with the club, while Hugo Sanchez and Castilla graduate Guti both picked up seven red cards during their respective stints in Madrid.

Fifth place on the list is shared between three players, including two from Real's famous Galacticos era during the early 2000s: Brazil legend Roberto Carlos and former Spain international Michel Salgado, both of whom were sent to the changing rooms on five occasions each.
Los Blancos' original bad boy was one-club man Manolo Sanchis, whose 18 seasons with the club's first team between 1983 and 2001 yielded five red cards – you can see all seven players by scrolling through the gallery above!
