According to Fichajes, Los Blancos want to make a significant bid for Reds right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Spanish and European champions are looking to reinforce the right side of their defence given that veteran Daniel Carvajal is now in his thirties, and with winger Lucas Vazquez deputising whenever the Spain international is unavailable, the club reportedly wants to solidify the position for years to come and see the Englishman as the perfect fit.
Alexander-Arnold has been an integral part of Jurgen Klopp's squad for most of the German tactician's tenure at Anfield, helping the club capture every title available, and Florentino Perez now reportedly wants to add the 24-year-old's winning pedigree to Carlo Ancelotti's side.
It could be a hard task prising the Liverpool native away from the Premier League giants given the Merseyside outfit is the only club he has ever played for, but with the fullback's contract set to expire in 2025, the LaLiga giants may fancy their chances of luring the player to the Santiago Bernabeu.

With the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Karim Benzema expected to stay in the Spanish capital for one more season, it appears Los Blancos will look to spend big in defence instead of midfield and attack, with the same report suggesting that the 14-time European champions want to make a large investment in the England international.
