Real Madrid have been urged to forget about Manchester United star Paul Pogba and sign more "humble" players next season.
Los Blancos have been linked with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner for the past two years, with manager Zinedine Zidane reportedly a big admirer of the midfielder.
Before the 2019/20 season got underway, Pogba revealed that he might look for a new challenge as speculation of a move to the Madrid outfit grew stronger.
However, former Real midfielder Uli Stielike would prefer the club to go for players who are willing to sacrifice for the team, which he seemingly believes does not apply to Pogba.
"If you want to return to the idea of the galacticos, maybe yes," the three-time LaLiga winner told AS when asked about Pogba.
"But I am more in favour of humble players with great talent and sacrifice for the team."
Real have not recovered from losing Ronaldo to Juventus in 2018, but Stielike has insisted the team was always going to need time to adapt without the club's all-time leading goalscorer.
"There is only one Cristiano," he added.
"That's why I see that any team needs a certain adaptation time when a fundamental piece is gone."
