The Spanish giants have already sold Achraf Hakimi to Inter Milan for a reported fee of €40 million (R760 million), and Javi Sanchez to Real Valladolid for €3 million (R57 million).
However, according to Marca, as many as 12 first-team players could still leave, while several others likely to go out on loan again.
Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez remain high on Los Blancos' reported exit list, and while the former's massive salary is a stumbling block for any potential buyers, the latter does not seem short of suitors this time around.
Atletico Madrid are believed to be interested in the Colombian, while United have also rejoined the list of clubs who could sign him.
Bale, meanwhile, seems destined to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu after his agent confirmed that the Welshman is happy to fulfil the final two years of his contract, said to be worth £384 000 (R7.4 million) a week, because "there's hardly any club in the world which can afford him".
Luka Jovic is another player on the club's suggested exit list, with the Serbian striker having scored just twice this season and made a number of negative headlines off the pitch.
The 22-year-old joined Real for a fee of €60 million (R1.16 billion) from Eintracht Frankfurt, but his value has almost halved since to just €32 million (R618 million), according to Transfermarkt. He has been linked with a host of clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal, but it remains to be seen if any club can afford to buy him.
