It was recently claimed by Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) president Ednaldo Rodrigues that the Italian will take the Brazil job in 2024.
Ancelotti has entered the final 12 months of his deal in Madrid and is said to have verbally agreed to become Tite's permanent successor ahead of the Copa America next year.
Reports in Spain, however, suggest Rodrigues' remarks caused unrest in the Los Blancos camp.
Cadena SER claims concerns have since emerged within the club that Ancelotti could struggle to motivate his players should results not go their way, while Marca reports the veteran boss has ensured the board that he is totally committed to the project.
He has also reportedly admitted to Real's hierarchy that he is planning to take the vacant position at the Selecao, but that nothing has been signed as things stand.
