This time last season, Los Blancos were in hot pursuit of Mbappe's signature as the French attacker's contract with Les Parisiens was on the verge of expiration.
The 24-year-old had been heavily linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, with Real confident of securing the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner's services. However, the transfer never came to fruition as the Paris native opted to sign a two-year extension with PSG instead.
Despite potentially compromising his relationship with the 14-time European champions with his renewal at the Parc des Princes, rumours regarding Mbappe potentially joining Los Merengues refuse to go away.
Recent reports suggested that Real president Florentino Perez has not given up on making the France international his next "Galactico", and now one of the LaLiga club's board members has seemingly hinted that it could happen in the next transfer window.
"With Florentino, I wouldn't rule anything out. If he has to come and he meets the criteria of the club, he will come. If not, he will not come, and others will," Catalina Minarro said, as per Mundo Deportivo.

Mbappe has been in scintillating form so far this season, scoring 25 goals in 25 matches across all competitions for his club.
