Real Madrid have reportedly decided on a superstar they are willing to part with in order to accommodate the arrival of the likes of Kylian Mbappe.

So far in 2023/24, Brazilian winger Rodrygo has arguably not stepped up the way in which Real have needed him to.
The young star has a solitary goal, scored on the opening day of the LALIGA campaign, to show for all his appearances this season, something that has not helped him stake a claim for a place in the starting XI.
Instead, it has been Jude Bellingham and Joselu who have been the main protagonists up front for Los Blancos this campaign.
Rodrygo recently revealed that he does not like playing in the striker role he is being asked to play, and his comments have seemingly not gone down well with some of Real's chiefs.
According to Sport, however, executives at the Santiago Bernabeu are not overly concerned about the 22-year-old's comments as they know there are other stars to count on such as Vinicius Junior, Brahim Diaz, Arda Guler and Endrick, who is set to arrive at the end of the season.
The record European champions also continue to look at possibly adding more reinforcements to the squad, and have eyed the likes of Takefusa Kubo at Real Sociedad, Manchester City's Erling Haaland, and perhaps most notably, Kylian Mbappe.

The same report claims that Rodrygo is currently viewed as the weakest link in the Real attack and should he fail to recapture his best form, the club will look to sell him and recoup a massive fee for player acquisitions of their own.
