Real Madrid have unveiled their new Brazilian signing, with the transfer taking their overall spending to a massive €337.5 million (R5.4 billion) this season.

Los Blancos had already bought Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo Goes ahead of the 2019/20 campaign, but added Brazilian wonderkid Reinier in January.
The 18-year-old, though, only completed his move on Tuesday after taking part in Brazil's qualification for the upcoming Olympic games.
"A very happy day for me. From my childhood I dreamed of this. Thank you to all the people who have been with me and brought me and to Real Madrid. Hala Madrid," he said at his unveiling.

Reinier joined Real from Flamengo for €30 million (R483 million) after his stellar breakout season that saw him lift the Brazilian league title as well as the Copa Libertadores – the South American version of the UEFA Champions League – in 2019.
