According to Relevo, it seems almost certain that Los Blancos will part with right-back Alvaro Odriozola this off-season.
Since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2018, the Spain international has failed to attain a prominent position in the Los Merengues starting XI, and having spent two of the past three seasons out on loan in Germany and Italy, it now appears the 27-year-old will make a permanent exit from the home of the record European champions.
The same report claims that following temporary stints with Bayern Munich and Fiorentina, not many teams were interested in buying the San Sebastien native, but he now looks likely to return to his boyhood club Real Sociedad, having reached an agreement with the Basque side over a potential move.
The Spaniard is approaching the final 12 months of his current deal at Valdebebas and is believed to be hoping for a contract termination so he can sign for La Real for bigger wages.
The defender's potential return comes after he initially left the club in 2018 to join the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners, but while he was a highly touted prospect back then, the four-cap Spain international's career has stalled.

Los Blancos have already bid farewell to Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Mariano Diaz and Eden Hazard on free transfers in this window, and should Odriozola also leave on a free, Real will not have recouped any money from their departures all window long.
