Despite the lack of game time this season, Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane still has a great deal of respect for James Rodriguez, according to Roberto Carlos.
After failing to secure a move elsewhere before the start of the 2019/2020 season, Rodriguez has found himself struggling to get regular game time this season.
While the Colombian has made just 13 appearances all campaign, Carlos feels Rodriguez is still an important part of the Los Blancos set up.
"He makes lots of rotations and whenever James comes on he always does well.
"The most important thing now is that he keeps on training as well as he has been and that he maintains the confidence he has in himself.
"The fans love him.
