Amid ongoing reports linking Liverpool star Sadio Mane with a move to Real Madrid, a former Reds midfielder has shared his belief that the Senegal forward will join the Spanish giants sooner or later.
Former Liverpool star Mohamed Sissoko, who represented the club between 2005 and 2008, was recently asked by Europa Calcio about the chances of Mohamed Salah joining Los Blancos when he revealed that he thinks Mane is more likely to make the move.
"No, I see Sadio Mane more (likely to join Real)," Sissoko answered, as translated by the Daily Express.
"Because he possesses the characteristics that Zidane wants, Zidane values him very much; I think Sadio Mane will go to Real Madrid."
Sissoko's comments follow after both Mane and Salah were linked with a move away from the Reds, with both Real and rivals FC Barcelona said to be interested in both African stars' signatures.
Liverpool are unlikely to let either player leave, however, with Mane and Salah having scored 38 goals between them across all competitions this season.
