Gareth Bale's Agent: He Wants Enough Money For His Grandkids

Gareth Bale's Agent: He Wants Enough Money For His Grandkids

Despite being heavily linked with a return to the Premier League, Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale's agent has suggested that his client might want to stay at Los Blancos for financial reasons.

The Best No. 7s In Real's History

The 30-year-old joined the Spanish giants in 2013, and while his numbers for the club are incredible, his last few LaLiga campaigns have been tricky in terms of his place in the team.

Bale has contributed to 172 goals in 249 matches for Real, and has won four UEFA Champions League medals, but does not appear to be in Zinedine Zidane's plans.

His agent, Jonathan Barnett, has once again insisted that the winger is happy in the Spanish capital despite his current situation, saying the former Tottenham Hotspur could be doing his bit to make sure his kids and grandchildren are catered for by staying at Real.

"I have no idea what his value is. His salary is quite high and also where he wants to go is very important in his life. I can't put a figure on it," Barnett told BBC Radio 4.

"It's for the clubs to decide what they want to pay for him.

"As I've always said, he's quite happy at Madrid. He has a very nice lifestyle, I don't see why he wouldn't see his career out in Madrid probably.

"It's his life that he wants to lead. Financially, he will want enough for the rest of his life and all his children and grandchildren. He's won nearly everything in the world except the World Cup.

"To come back and play in the Premier League would be a big thing, but I don't think he wants to do that at the moment as he's quite happy to play at Real Madrid."
