It has been claimed that high-earning superstar Gareth Bale, who has not featured much this season, has essentially been blacklisted by manager Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.
The Welshman has featured just once for Los Blancos since football returned, playing 29 minutes against Eibar in gameweek 28, while he was an unused substitute against both Valencia and Real Sociedad.
With the Madrid club in a strong position to win LaLiga following their most recent victory and with FC Barcelona dropping points in their latest match, ex-Real president Jorge Valdano believes Zidane will need his entire squad to pull together for the remainder of the campaign, but also claimed that the Frenchman has ostracised Bale.
"But that seems to be without Bale, who he has already ruled out.
"Bale does not seem to care too much either, and coaches know when a player wants to play."
Bale has played just 19 times for Real so far this season, contributing to five goals along the way.
