Brazil went through an uncharacteristically poor run of form in 2023 as they lost more games than they won.
This has led the nation's football confederation to drastically ramp up efforts to secure the services of their top managerial target, Ancelotti.
According to Diario AS, however, after consulting with his family, the Italian tactician's desire is to stay in the Spanish capital beyond this campaign.
While last season only ended with a Copa del Rey triumph for Real, the 64-year-old has enjoyed a great start to the new term as his team currently sit atop of the LALIGA standing, and also finished their Champions League group stage campaign with a 100% record.
It is said the Reggiolo native is flattered by the interest from the record FIFA World Cup winners, but is more inclined to extend his contract with Los Merengues for one more season before considering taking the Selecao job.
The same report claims that Ancelotti is willing to wait until it is no longer possible to extend with Real before considering leaving the club.
The ex-AC Milan and Chelsea manager is believed to not be concerned by money and appreciates the support he has received from club president Florentino Perez and CEO Jose Angel Sanchez at the Santiago Bernabeu.
