According to the publication, FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is the greatest player of all time, while Real's Ronaldo was snubbed for the top five.
Argentina legend Diego Maradona was named behind his countryman, despite winning a FIFA World Cup while Messi has not won any major tournament with his country.
Barca and Ajax Amsterdam legend Johan Cruyff was named as the third best player of all time, followed by Brazil legend Pele, also a World Cup winner.

Los Blancos legend Alfredo Di Stefano completed the top five, leaving no place for Ronaldo, who won the 2016 European Championship, UEFA Champions League, the La Liga title and a Ballon d'Or over the past year.
