Former Chievo shot-stopper Stefano Sorrentino recently claimed that the Portugal captain promised to give him his jersey after their Serie A clash in 2019.
Juventus ended up winning 3-0 on the day, but Ronaldo did not get on the scoresheet after seeing his spot-kick saved by Sorrentino in the 52nd minute.
"We agreed to exchange our shirts, but after missing the penalty he was very angry," the 42-year-old told Sky Sports Italia.
"It had never happened to him in Italy.
"In the changing room tunnel we met, he gave me a handshake and congratulated me, but he had a bad face, and he didn't give me his shirt."
Ronaldo's spell in Italy lasted three seasons, and he managed to win two Serie A titles, the Coppa Italia and one Golden Boot during that period.
The 36-year-old is set to begin his second stint with Manchester United this weekend after he was allowed to leave the Portugal camp early as he is suspended for their upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan.
