Minutes before half-time at the Vicente Calderon, Torres and Ronaldo clashed with one another as the Rojiblancos forward was reportedly furious with the "shush" gesture Ronaldo aimed at the home crowd after Isco scored.
The former Chelsea attacker first pushed the Los Blancos talisman and was then seen shouting at him, before Ronaldo responded and laughed while walking past him. This seemed to enrage Torres further as he then approached the Portugal captain once again, before the referee intervened and separated the pair.
Marca have now reported what Torres and Ronaldo apparently told each other during the heated moment.
"What's wrong? Clown," Torres asked, as translated from Spanish to English.
"Go home, idiot," the Real winger apparently replied.
At this point, the match official got between the two players, although Ronaldo was clearly left smiling having riled up Torres, who launched a final tirade before going his own way.
"Son of a b****," the Spaniard is claimed to have responded.
Atletico came flying out of the blocks in the match, and were leading 2-0 within the first 15 minutes. However, Isco's goal in the 42nd minute helped Real to a 4-2 aggregate win, despite a 2-1 defeat on the night.

Los Blancos have now reached their third final in four years, and consecutive finals for the first time since the 1950s. They could become the first team to defend the UEFA Champions League title since the change of the competition's format in 1992.
