A small group of Los Blancos faithful even showed their frustration by bringing a banner referencing the party to Madrid's training ground on Monday.
"Your laughter, our shame," read the message that they had for Ronaldo and co after the Portuguese went ahead with his party, just hours after the humiliating 4-0 derby-defeat to Atletico Madrid.
The message is understood as a reference to the way some members of the squad – including Ronaldo – were pictured enjoying themselves at the party, while other team members decided not to go.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez also came to Madrid's training ground to give the squad his opinion on their lacklustre performance, and the party afterwards.
Los Blancos' training session was reportedly set for 15:00 on Monday, but Perez only left the training ground at 15:30.
According to Spanish media, Perez first spoke to Ancelotti and then had a crisis talk with the squad, asking them to reproduce the form they showed from before Christmas.
