The five-time Ballon d'Or winner spent three years at the Bianconeri between 2018 and 2021, with one of those seasons – 2020/21 – being under the ex-Italy international.
Ronaldo, who joined Juve from Real Madrid for a club-record fee, scored 36 goals in all competitions in that campaign, and assisted a further six strikes.
His goals helped inspire the Old Lady to a Coppa Italia title, but the team's failure to win the Serie A title ultimately cost Pirlo his job at his former club.
He does, however, have good memories of working closely with Ronaldo.
"Training Ronaldo makes you understand how to become number one in the world," he told Radio Serie A.
"He's an exemplary professional in every aspect: From how he eats, how he recovers, to how he trains."
Ronaldo also left the Italian giants in 2021, returning to Manchester United 12 years after leaving the English side for Los Blancos in 2009.
