Neymar's son was born in August 2011, and the Brazilian superstar has always expressed his unconditional love for the youngster.

In a recent interview with FIFA.com, the 28-year-old was asked how much his son is into football, and Neymar revealed that his child is not as passionate about the game as he himself is, but is a fan of Messi, Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe.

"My son likes sport and likes to play football with his friends. But he's different to me – he's not as passionate about football," he explained.

"He really likes Messi, Mbappe and Cristiano Ronaldo. In fact, his attack when he plays video games is Messi, CR7, Mbappe and me."

Many expected Neymar to take over from Ronaldo and Messi in terms of the game's major individual awards, but the Brazilian is yet to lift the Ballon d'Or or FIFA's The Best Men's Player prize.

"I've always said that winning The Best award isn't an obsession, but I train hard every day to be better than the day before," he added.

"I always try to evolve individually and collectively. If one day I win the award, it will be the result of my work."
