A team in Europe has reportedly won the race for the signature of Portugal wonderkid Joao Felix, who is considered by many to be the brightest talent to come out of his country since Cristiano Ronaldo.
Barca Chief Makes Shock Griezmann Admission
According to Marca, the 19-year-old will join Spanish side Atletico Madrid ahead of the 2019/20 season.
The Benfica forward has been linked with a host of top European clubs, including Manchester City and Real Madrid, but it has now been claimed Los Rojiblancos are willing to pay £107 million (R1.9 billion) to secure his signature.
Atletico is expected to earn close to that fee should superstar Antoine Griezmann leave, which is likely.

Felix contributed to 31 goals in his breakthrough campaign for Benfica, earning himself a place in Portugal's squad for the UEFA Nations League finals against Switzerland and Netherlands.
The wonderkid's talent has seen many compare him to a young Ronaldo, who also impressed in Portugal before making a big move to a stronger European league.
