International Friendly
Teams: Brazil vs Argentina
Date: 9 June 2017
Venue: Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia
Brazil coach Tite, who has won all nine of his games in charge of the Selecao, has left the Real Madrid and FC Barcelona-based players out of his squad and will field an experimental line-up for the match.
Argentina, meanwhile, will be keen to beat their bitter rivals in this Superclasico, with head coach Jorge Sampaoli taking charge of his first game.
The Albiceleste have won only three of their past nine matches, losing four, including 3-0 to Brazil in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier, and will be keen to gain some positive momentum by beating their bitter rivals.
Argentina last beat Brazil after 90 minutes in 2012, but could benefit from the fact that Selecao boss Tite left players such as Neymar, Marcelo, Casemiro, Dani Alves, Marquinhos, Fabinho and Firminho out of his latest squad.
