Despite being criticised in recent weeks, the Portuguese has been scoring with ease of late, and his opener against Roma helped Los Blancos put the round of 16 tie against the Italian side to bed.
Ronaldo has now scored 13 UCL goals in eight games this season (1.6 goals per game), meaning he is now four goals behind his record for the most goals in a single Champions League campaign, which he set at 17 strikes in 2013/14.
The player could potentially player another five matches in this UCL campaign, and if he keeps up his goals to game ratio, he could score eight more times, which would see him end on 21 strikes.
The Portuguese has now scored 90 goals overall in the Champions League, while he has also assisted a further 31 strikes for his teammates.
Only 15 of those goals were for his former club Manchester United, and the 31-year-old has reached double figures in Europe for the past five seasons in a row.
