Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo and FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi could team up together in a UEFA all-star match.

The two stars could line-up alongside one another in a UEFA all-star match that will consist of several stars, showcasing the best of Europe's talent.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi would feature for 'Team South', a team that will boast stars from Serie A, La Liga and the French Ligue One.
Their opponents would then be 'Team North', consisting of stars from the English Premier League, the Bundesliga, and the Russian Premier League.
A marketing company approached UEFA with their idea, reported Mundo Deportivo, but a date for the fixture has not yet been finalised.
It's been reported that the two teams will be chosen by fans on an online poll, with no club side having more than three players represent either one of the all-star teams.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba are other stars who could possibly feature for the South team, while Eden Hazard, Sergio Aguero and Angel di Maria are players who could represent the North team.
The game would attract a large audience from all around the footballing world, as the prospect of all of these stars on the same field is mouth-watering, especially with the possibility of Ronaldo and the Catalan club legend, Messi, playing together.

The pair, who represent each other's club rivals, have together scored 72 La Liga goals this season, as well made 34 assists.
