Chelsea reportedly could miss out on long-term target Bruma, who has been dubbed the 'next Cristiano Ronaldo'.
The 19-year-old was first linked to Chelsea when he played for Sporting Lisbon, with some reorts claiming the winger was desperate for a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Portuguese starlet then surprisingly moved to Galatasaray in January 2014 and was immediately loaned out to Gaziantepspor.
Unfortunately he suffered a knee ligament injury, but has now returned to regular football.
He was linked to Chelsea and Everton in the summer window but new reports claim Monaco are preparing a move for him in January.
The French side who sold James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao over the summer are keen to strengthen their squad and are reportedly prepared to pay €18 million for the youngster.
Bruma is unlikely to be at Chelsea's level yet, but if they really see the next Ronaldo in him the Blues could opt to sign him and then loan him out initially.
