One of Cristiano Ronaldo's former teammates, Carlos Tevez, has explained how he thinks the Portuguese is different to Lionel Messi.
Zidane: Why Ronaldo Grabbed Phone After Facial Injury
The Boca Juniors forward believes that football comes more naturally to his countryman Messi, while Ronaldo, whom he takes nothing away from, has had to work harder to get to where he is today.
"Cristiano is totally different to Messi," Tevez told ESPN Argentina.
"When Leo was starting out, he didn't touch a gym. But Cristiano was there in the morning, afternoon and evening, all the time. Cristiano had to work and prepare himself to be the best, while, for Leo, it comes naturally.
"Those are the greatest differences that I see between the two best players on the planet."
Asked to pick who he feels is the better player between them, Tevez chose the FC Barcelona man.
"Messi plays another sport," he added.
"For Messi to score three goals (in any given game) is normal."
