Former Atletico Madrid star, Arda Turan, has spoken on his big move to FC Barcelona, saying he is honoured to wear the same shirt as Lionel Messi.

The Turk is delighted to be playing with Messi, who he feels is the best ever, but also said that he idolises Andres Iniesta, who will also be his new teammate at the Catalan club.
"Messi is simply the best ever, it's an honour to wear the same shirt and play alongside him," he told AS.
"My idol was always Maradona but the current player that I idolise is Iniesta.
"Being part of Barcelona means a lot.
"It is my dream, a reward for the work that I have culminated through my career. It means everything."
Although Turan has signed for the club, he could be sent back to Atletico Madrid if the elected president decides that they don't wish to keep him.
The experienced midfielder played for Galatasaray before joining Atletico, where he scored 44 goals in 190 games, while he assisted a further 76 times.

At Atletico, Turan played 177 times, scoring 22 goals while he assisted 32 times - winning the La Liga once.
