Manchester United could lose one of their young stars' soon, with reports claiming that he has rejected a renewal from the club.
Ten Hag Praises Benni, Reveals His Impact
Alejandro Garnacho, 18, has had a significant impact at United since bursting on to the scene at the beginning of the season, having had seven goal contributions in the 15 appearances he has made for the Red Devils so far.
His most recent assist came in United's come-from-behind victory over cross-town rivals Manchester City on Saturday, when the Madrid-born attacker provided Marcus Rashford with the pass to score the winning goal of the encounter.
According to the Metro, Garnacho is currently earning £5 000 (R104 500) a week at Old Trafford, and in an attempt to keep the starlet in Manchester, the club has offered him a new deal that would see him quadruple his wages to £20 000 (R418 200) a week.
However, the Argentine and his representatives have declined the offer as they believe the pacey attacker is deserving of weekly wages closer to £50 000 (R1 million).
With 12 months remaining until he can sign a pre-contract with any other side outside England, United risk losing one of the game's brightest talents to the likes of Juventus and Real Madrid, who are reportedly keen on luring Garnacho to their respective homes.
