The same report suggests that Osimhen will likely only move for a fee in the region of £133 million (R2.7 billion), so if United are to successfully sign the west African, he could become the most expensive signing in the Premier League's history.

The attacker is also said to have requested that his representatives postpone all negotiations regarding his future until after the 2022/23 campaign, and given the large injection of cash the Mancunians will have should they qualify for Europe's premier club competition next season, a transfer for Osimhen may not be beyond the realms of possibility for the Red Devils.
