Manchester United have been linked with a host of midfielders amid speculation surrounding Paul Pogba's future, and the name of a 2018/19 Uefa Champions League finalist has now been thrown into the hat of players who could replace the Frenchman.

Paul Pogba's proposed return to Juventus or potential switch to Real Madrid has been one of the talking points of the transfer window thus far, and has resulted in a number of players being touted as his potential replacement at United.
The likes of Bruno Fernandes, Sean Longstaff and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic have all been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but the latest reports suggest that a 2018/19 UCL finalist could be the man to replace Pogba.

According to The Telegraph, Christian Eriksen is considering a move away from Tottenham Hotspur, and is waiting for one of Real Madrid, Juventus or the Red Devils to make an offer for his services.
The midfielder is entering the final year of his contract with Spurs, and is reportedly exploring the option of a new challenge after spending the past six seasons in London.
The Denmark international was a key figure in the Tottenham side that reached the Champions League final last season, when they were defeated by fellow Premier League side Liverpool.

Eriksen joined the Lilywhites in 2013, and has scored 66 goals in 277 appearances for the club since.
