According to talkSPORT, the club has confirmed the 26-year-old is available for selection on Thursday when the Red Devils host Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

Rashford missed United's 4-2 away win over Newport County on Sunday, days after missing training due to an apparent illness.

It later emerged that the England international was seen out on the town in Belfast, with manager Erik ten Hag insisting in a press conference that the matter would be handled internally.

The 20-time English champions said the winger has owned up to his indiscretion in a statement issued on Monday.

"Marcus has taken responsibility for his actions. This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed," it read.

Rashford has endured a disappointing 2023/24 campaign so far, after scoring 30 goals across all competitions last season.
