Former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos signing for Paris Saint-Germain was a bad idea, according to a former PSG Star.
The Spanish defender joined the French giants on a two-year deal after parting ways with Los Blancos at the end of last season when his contract expired.
The 35-year-old is yet to feature for the Ligue 1 giants, but Jerome Rothen feels Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe are better than the former Madrid star right now.
"When he arrived, everyone said that Sergio Ramos was going to change the mentality inside the dressing room," the former PSG midfielder said, according to Marca.
"But today, Marquinhos and Kimpembe are way above Ramos in terms of influence.
"His motivational skills aren't enough right now at PSG. He needs to be bringing more to the team on the pitch.
"If he's unable to do that, there is no point in having him. That's why I get the feeling that signing Ramos was a bad idea for PSG."
