Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly identified a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is yet to agree on a new deal with the club.
Mbappe's future has been a hot topic for discussion, although the club confirmed late last year that they had started negotiations on an extension.
However, the striker's contract expires in 2022 and both parties have been relatively quiet about a new deal unlike Neymar, who recently revealed he is happy in Paris.
French publication Le Parisien have claimed Liverpool star forward Mohamed Salah could be a replacement should Mbappe decide to leave the club.
The report claims that Salah wants to leave the Reds next season and PSG bosses Leonardo and Al-Khelaif have "always" seen the Egyptian as a player who could boost the team's attack.
Salah recently revealed that no one from Liverpool has spoken to him about extending his current deal, which expires in 2023.
"No one is talking to me about that, so I can't say much about that," Salah told Sky Sports.
"No one in the club is talking to me about anything so I do not know."
