A Paris Saint-Germain star has claimed that the team has struggled to find cohesion since the arrival of Lionel Messi this season.
Poch: How Mbappe Neymar Reacted To My Messi Claim
Messi made the surprise switch to the French capital in the latest transfer window after Barcelona were unable re-sign him when his contract ended in June.
While the Argentine has impressed during the UEFA Champions League group stages with three goals for Les Parisiens, he is yet to find the net in Ligue 1 after four matches.
"With [Messi's] arrival, it's harder to find that cohesion," PSG and Argentina winger Angel Di Maria told Telefoot.
"Things are not clear yet, but they will become so. Neymar is an immense player – bit by bit he will return to a top level.
"Competition [for places at PSG] is difficult.
"When you have those three players in front of you, you have to work, and do as well as possible in order to play. And then it's the manager who decides."
Di Maria is also convinced Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will only get better as an attacking trio this season.
"Yes. These are three exceptional players," the former Real Madrid star replied, per Ligue 1's official website.
"There are two who continue to grow and will try to win the Ballon d'Or in the future, and the other is the greatest."
