A Paris Saint-Germain star has broken his silence after reports claimed he would be sacrificed in a swap deal for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo's future in Turin remains unclear heading into the final year of his contract and has been linked to PSG in the past few months.
Mauro Icardi, meanwhile, is yet to replicate the form he showed during his time with Inter Milan and has since been linked with a departure as the look to bring in a bigger name.
French publication L'Equipe reported that Juventus considered offering the five-time Ballon d'Or winner to the Ligue 1 outfit with the hopes getting Icardi in exchange.
However, Icardi took to social media to reaffirm his commitment in the French capital ahead of the new season.
"This season, the next and the next!!!" the Argentina said on his Instagram account.
"That has never been in doubt!!! Come on PSG".
Since joining the Paris outfit from Inter in 2019, the Argentine striker has notched up 33 goals and 10 assists in 62 appearances.
