The Norwegian left his position as United manager on Sunday after the Red Devils' shock 4-1 loss to Watford in the Premier League the previous evening.
Reports in England claim that Pochettino is keen on moving to Old Trafford during the mid-season, rather than at end of the campaign.
The Daily Mirror has reported, though, that United would need to buy out Pochettino's contract, which would cost around £10 million (R212 million).
"I am focused. I am very focused on football. I am not a child, I spend my whole life playing football, and now my 12th year being coach, we're in a business that the rumours are there. I understand what is going on," Pochettino told reporters on Tuesday, as per Sky Sports News.
"This kind of thing cannot distract. Rumours are there, we need to live with that.
"We are so focused, giving 100% to get our best from the club and the players.
"I am so happy at Paris Saint-Germain, for tomorrow we are so focused to get the best results we can."
PSG, meanwhile, have reportedly identified Zinedine Zidane as a possible replacement should Pochettino decide to make a return to the Premier League.
The Argentine is currently in Manchester as his PSG side is set to take on Manchester City in a UEFA Champions League clash at the Etihad on Wednesday night.
