Ligue 1 Wrap: Dominant Paris Saint-Germain Ran Riot Over Lyon

Paris Saint-Germain continued their dominance in Ligue 1 with a 4-2 victory over Olympique Lyon on Sunday night.

The hosts raced into a three-goal lead through Angel di Maria, Kylian Mbappe and a Fernando Marçal own goal.

Lyon gave themselves some Martin Terrier and Moussa Dembele made it 3-2 just before the hour mark, but Edinson Cavani sealed the win for PSG with a 79th minute strike.

Montpellier kept their top-four aspirations alive with a 1-0 win over Saint-Etienne at the Stade de La Mosson.

Andy Delort got the game's only goal in the 25th minute for the hosts, who finished the game with 10 men after Salomon Sambia was shown a straight red just before the halftime break.

Strasbourg made it two wins in a row after defeating Reims 3-0 on Sunday evening at the Stade de la Meinau.

After a goalless second half, Alexander Djiku, Abdul Majeed Waris and Kenny Lala all found the back of the net in the second stanza to seal three points.

Bafana Bafana international Lebogang Mothiba also made a return from injury after replacing Ludovic Ajorque in second-half stoppage time.
