Former Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez has claimed that Kylian Mbappe would love to join LaLiga giants Real Madrid, who are reportedly keen on the player's services.
Jese was a teammate of Mbappe's in the French capital before his contract was terminated in December 2020 after being deemed surplus to requirement.
The Spaniard, who joined PSG from Los Blancos in 2016, believes Mbappe wants to move to the Santiago Bernabeu one day just like his idol Cristiano Ronaldo did.
"He would love to go to Real Madrid," Jese told El Partidazo de COPE.
"His idol has always been Cristiano (Ronaldo). He loves Madrid and I am sure he will play there one day."
After failing to make a real impact at Real and Les Parisiens, Jese is now looking to get back to his best with Las Palmas.
"I am keen to talk about football. I have to leave the past behind and now I want to focus on football," he added.
"I have always given my all, but in the end things haven't worked out.
"A lot of people assumed I was finished. That motivates me even more to train and play well. I had offers from Turkey, Mexico, Saudi Arabia... I am here because I have my loved ones close by as well as the club's support."
