Paris Saint-Germain suffered their first defeat of the Ligue 1 season, after losing 2-1 to newly promoted Strasbourg on Saturday evening.
The home side took a surprising lead after 13 minutes, courtesy of a header from Nuno da Costa.
PSG looked to hit back immediately and they went close in the 17th minute, when Kylian Mbappe's back-heel was turned away by goalkeeper Bingourou Kamara.
It was one-way traffic in the first half, as the visitors pushed for an equaliser, and Angel Di Maria went close with a free-kick in the 38th minute, that sailed inches wide of the upright.
However, PSG were not to be denied two minutes before the break, as Mbappe leveled matters with a close range finish, 1-1.
Unai Emery's charges dominated in the second half, but they were finding it tough to carve out clear cut chances.
However, it was Strasbourg who restored their lead in the 65th minute, thanks to a strike from Stéphane Bahoken, 2-1.
With 15 minutes remaining, Emery introduced Edinson Cavani for Di Maria as they pushed for a way back into the clash.
PSG pushed for an equaliser but, the home side managed to hold on for a valuable three points.
