A player who recently left Paris Saint-Germain has revealed that there is quite the party culture at the star-studded French giants.
Belgium right-back Thomas Meunier has joined Borussia Dortmund after four years in the French capital.
Speaking recently about his departure from PSG, the former Club Brugge star explained that his teammates would often have parties where hundreds of people would be in attendance, saying this reflects the culture of the club.
"Nothing but birthday parties – incredible," Meunier told RTBF.
"When I was at Bruges, we'd celebrate birthdays by playing darts or pool in a bar, but here it's just outrageous.
"But that just reflects the club: hire a palace, hire a building, parties with hundreds of people. That's when you see that they're more than footballers; they're stars.
"I always had a good time, but it was all a bit extravagant and 'did you see me?' But that's part of it, part of the game."
Meunier represented PSG on 128 occasions, contributing to 34 strikes and winning nine trophies along the way.
