Paris Saint-Germain star Ander Herrera has sent a reminder to Kylian Mbappe about who is 'number one' in the squad.
The Argentine superstar has not enjoyed set Ligue 1 alight since joining PSG from Barcelona on a free transfer in the off-season.
Mbappe has bagged 15 goals across all competitions this season, making him the club's top scorer ahead of Messi and Neymar who are bot not on double figures.
Despite Mbappe having more joy in front of goal this season, Herrera insists that Messi still the top dog at PSG for now.
"Kylian will be the best player in the world for many years to come, but we all agree that Leo is number one. No doubt," the Spanish midfielder told Mundo Deportivo.
"Mbappe has an immense humility and desire to learn from Leo."
Mbappe's contract runs out at the end of the current and a number of reports in Spain claim he has his eyes set on Real Madrid, but Herrera hopes to see the Wolrd Cup winner remain in the French capital.
"We have many examples of footballers who have done it in February, March or April."
