Arturo Vidal became FC Barcelona's latest signing on the weekend, and reportedly also became one of the club's top earners in the process. As such, here are the Blaugrana's highest-paid players.

The Chilean reportedly joined the Catalan giants from Bayern Munich for a fee of about £18 million (R310 million).
Vidal also became one of the club's highest-paid players after putting pen to paper on a three-year contract, which will reportedly see him earn £8 million (R138 million) a year after tax.
His annual salary roughly converts to £165 000 (R2.8 million) a week, the same amount Gerard Pique earns at the club, and only five Barcelona players pocket more than the duo does.
Sergio Busquets is in fifth position with weekly wages of £180 000 (R3.1 million), followed by Ousmane Dembele, who is on £220 000 (R3.8 million) a week.

Philippe Coutinho appears in third place with £240 000 (R4.1 million), only beaten by Luis Suarez, with £290 000 (R5 million), and Lionel Messi's £500 000 (R8.6 million) per week.
